Asking this question is like asking "is water safe?" In other words, it absolutely depends on how the water is sourced, tested, and handled - right?

Unfortunately, many essential oils you can buy on the open market have been adulterated with ingredients that are not safe. And, test results (if testing is done at all) are generally not available for you to view for yourself (as they are with doTERRA essential oils).

When you choose doTERRA, you are choosing the most tested, most trusted oils on the market. When used properly, they are absolutely safe and an incredible tool for empowered health and wellness.

Watch Founding Executive Dr. Hill explain the benefits of dilution and how to use oils safely.

Are essential oils safe?

As we said above, not all oils are created equally.

Most, in fact, are adulterated with synthetics, ethers, and fragrances to make you think (like their labels claim) they are "100% pure" and "all natural." These are simply marketing terms, not scientifically-validated certifications.

If you want the cheapest oil that smells ok, then purity won't matter to you.

But, if you are looking for natural solutions that effectively address your health concerns without toxic side effects, then purity is essential.

This is what we offer - not just in our products, but in our purpose. As doTERRA always says - we get the best, and we help the most.

This video hilariously explains why purity matters.

The LRP is doTERRA's way of rewarding you for pursuing a wellness lifestyle.

When you commit to placing an order each month (of any amount - even 1 PV), you'll earn up to 30% back in points toward FREE products. Plus, if you place a loyalty order of at least 125 Personal Volume (PV) between the first and fifteenth of a given month, you’ll receive the Product of the Month for free with your order!

It costs nothing to participate and you can cancel at any time.

There is truly nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Learn why participation in the Loyalty Rewards program is, by far, the best way to get your products at the best price.

What is the Loyalty Rewards Program?
What does PV mean?

PV means "personal value." You can also think of it as "point value."

Because doTERRA is a global company, operating in many currencies, it gives each product a point value in order to communicate consistently about customer promotions and commission bonuses across all markets.

Points can be earned through the Loyalty Rewards Program and redeemed for free products!

Using points allows to try new products (risk-free), stock up on monthly favorites, or simply reduce the cost of your order.

Yikes! Please do not attempt to do this. Here's why...

doTERRA only sells their Certified Pure Tested Grade essential oils and products through distributors (called Wellness Advocates). And...

Wellness Advocates enjoy exactly the same wholesale pricing as doTERRA members. So...

There is no way for a person to get doTERRA products at a larger discount in order to resell them for a profit on Amazon.

What does this mean?

It means that it is VERY likely the person selling "doTERRA" on Amazon is making a profit by adding liquid to an already opened bottle, resealing it with a new tamper-evident cap (they are readily available online), and selling it as if it were new.

It is not. And, it may harm you if you use it.

If you'd like to get doTERRA products in your home, you'll need to connect with a Wellness Advocate.

We're here to provide you the education and support you need to make the most informed choice that best meets your needs.

Can't I just buy doTERRA products on Amazon?

Absolutely not. In fact, the majority of our doTERRA members are simply customers who purchase products for personal use.

Yet, once you experience the life-changing benefits of doTERRA, it's likely you'll become interested in sharing what you know.

This is the point when many of our customers decide to upgrade their accounts and become Wellness Advocates.

A Wellness Advocate is a person who is committed to sharing the life-enhancing benefits of therapeutic-grade essential oils with others through a person-to-person model.
